DAYSTAR GOSPEL RELEASE
“The Vision”
Write The Vision And Make It Plain!

Pensacola, FL (https://www.tradebit.com)—A Trio of Talented Innovative Music Producers and Vocalists are Creating Spiritual Songs with Emotional Appeal. Fresh on the heels of their self-titled debut CD, and the ever popular mini album, Alpha & Omega, expectations are high for The Vision, the 3rd project from THE PRIEST THE PROPHET & THE POET, set to release by DayStar*Gospel on May 18, 2007.

As their combined gifts, talents and notoriety continue to increase, The Vision, the group’s junior album, is nothing short of amazing. This nineteen track (Yes, you heard it right. 19!) disc casts a wide vision that will appeal to fans of smooth jazz, traditional/contemporary gospel, R&B, funk and old-school rap. Norris Gurganious, Raphael Ashanti, and Rodney ‘Doc C’ Goldsmith, aka The Priest, The Prophet & The Poet, combine black velvet vocals with passion, precision, and a no-holds-barred sense of mission. Divergent backgrounds of the three vocalists could have presented insurmountable creative differences, yet it is those very differences, properly fitted together, that is this projects greatest strength. You never get a sense of competition between the singers, but rather there is an impression of men lifting each other up, encouraging each other to greater heights.

Headquartered in beautiful Pensacola, FL, hometown of world boxing champion Roy Jones Jr; Tampa Bay Buccaneer 9-time Pro Bowler (Defensive Linebacker) Derrick Brooks; NFL all-time leading rusher Emmitt Smith and Gold medal Olympic sensation Justin Gatlin. This group takes you on a journey of faith, hope, personal testimony and ultimate salvation. Through their music one achieves a true to life sense of inspiration that’s sure to leave you emotionally charged, but in a cool, calm and collective sort of way.

“I was personally moved by the single “You’ve Got A Friend”; this song has truly touched my heart. I enjoy songs that not only will make you move, but songs that are lyrically well written. These gentlemen are well on their way of becoming a house hold name in the gospel community. Their sound is so moving that sometimes listening you may forget you are listening to gospel music. The single “The Rain” is so tranquil and soothing. The single “So Many Tears” has a unique track; I have enjoyed listening to their music and I know they will soon touch the world with it.” Sheila Henley, (Henley & Associates Entertainment, Executive Editor, https://www.tradebit.com.E. Magazine).

“A song for all seasons describes the latest release from the Priest, Prophet & Poet. This compilation of dynamic songs provides something for everyone who enjoys good gospel music. The sound is innovative, the message is clear and you''ll want to hear it again and again. The choice of music selected to be on this project will appeal to the young and the young at heart as it provides tender ballads and toe tapping melodies to uplift your spirit.” Debra Thompson, President (Gospel Songwriters Music workshop).

At times The Vision gets a little funky, as on “Make Me Your Instrument,” and occasionally they let the dramatics go joyfully over the top as on “Good Days!” But for the most part, The 3P’s draw on peace-filled, inspirational, orchestral music to provide the underpinnings for this remarkable project. Somewhere between Donnie McClurkin and Boys II Men, The Priest, The Prophet, & The Poet strike all the right chords.
