Short musical life story:

As a young boy of 10, Dennis became a member of a children choir in Aruba called "De Trupialen". There he learned to sing and play several musical instruments. Along the way he chose the guitar as his main instrument and then played with the older boys in the club band as lead guitarist. Then at the age of 16, he helped to form a new band called "The Spotlights." The group had a very short existence. Dennis was the bass player of the group.

At the age of 17 he joined the local rock band "Aftermath" as lead guitarist and played with them for a couple of years. With this band he performed for the first time outside of Aruba. This happened on the island of Curacao, where they played for a week. He was approached to join the vocal group "Dhaddy and the Starshines" when he was 20. They performed in the local hotels, nightclubs and TV stations in Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire. They also did a three-week tour in the New York and Pennsylvania area in the USA. Then came a period that he performed solo and worked in several local hotels in Aruba as a solo entertainer.

In 1974, he joined the professional group "Supernova" as guitarist/singer. With this group he worked in the local hotels in Aruba for many years. In 1976 and 1978, they traveled to the USA for performances in several East Coast states. In January 1979 they also performed during the halftime show of Superbowl 13 in the Orange Bowl of Miami. When returning to Aruba from the USA, the group resumed their work in the local hotels in Aruba. During this period Dennis dedicated most of his time to his music education in harmony, arranging and songwriting.

After leaving Supernova he again reformed the rock group "Aftermath" in 1985, with which group he played till 1990. During this period a recording was released of the most popular songs of the group.

In 1990, together with a few friends, he formed a new pop rock group called "Memory Lane." In 1992, they released a CD in Aruba and Curacao. The CD contained three songs composed by Dennis.

From 1994 till 1996, he again did performances with the group "Aftermath" in the local hotels and nightclubs in Aruba and Curacao.

In 1997, he formed the duo "Dennis & Zeppy" and did very successful performances on local TV stations in Aruba. The duo has recorded a CD in 1999 with songs in English and Spanish and this has been released in December 2000 in Aruba and Curacao.
In 1999, Dennis has also put a lot of time in the production and recording of 15 folkloric Aruban songs. The CD containing these songs will be released on a later date and will feature 2 Aruban waltzes composed by Dennis.

In 2000, he has decided to try it on his own as "Zeppenfeldt." He has released a CD called "My Songs" containing only his compositions. In this project he was singer, songwriter, arranger, guitarist, recording engineer, music programmer and producer.

In April 2003 Dennis released a new CD "Live at the Garufa Cocktail Lounge in Aruba". This CD contained 16 songs in English and 6 songs in Spanish. Again in this project he was singer, arranger, guitarist, recording engineer, music programmer and producer.

In the beginning of 2004 Dennis moved to Rhode Island USA where he is performing on a regular basis.
