David Abbinanti is an award-winning songwriter from Long Island, NY. With a Masters degree in Music Composition from NYU, David has emerged as one of today''s brightest and most prolific songwriters. Some of his past accomplishments include winning the National Award for Best Pop Song from the Songwriters Guild of America and NYU’s INMC Award for Songwriting. Quickly becoming a favorite at clubs throughout the Northeast, David’s debut CD entitled Local Train To Babylon is being released in April 2007. This promises to be an artistic and engaging debut recording.
In addition to his career as a songwriter, he is also on the faculty at Nassau Community College, where he teaches Music Theory, Song Writing, and History of Rock and Roll.
