**** THIS CD IS VERY DIFFERENT! ****
BECAUSE I AM NOT REALLY SELLING ME. My goal is to have someone already in the music biz take these songs and make hits out of them. Why? Because every one of these songs are absolutely worth doing. I made this CD pretty much as a Promo for the Recording Artist / Entertainer / Performer that agrees. So, listen to the tunes. Then, imagine your favorite Recording Artist doing one or more my songs on their next CD. Let them know that fresh new music is here for them. Sure, you can buy my version! A lot of people like my version. I would be totally gratified if you agree. In 1957, at the age of 7, my Mother put a Clock Radio in my room to help me go to sleep. That was the first night of many that I wound up falling asleep with the warm radio on my chest while I listened to Rock and Roll on Station WINS in New York. That is when I fell in love with music. From then on I noticed all kinds of music. It was all over the radio. It was all over TV. It was in all the movies. Some was new, Some was old. Some was happy, Some was oh so sad. Even the days Cartoons (Disney, Looney Toons, Etc.), Played wonderful Symphonies as their background. My Mom played Frank Sinatra ,Tony Bennett and the likes of their generation on the Hi-Fi,(Yesteryear''s Stereo System)all day. I loved it all! Through the 60"s and 70''s and partly into the 80''s, Rock music reached its peak. (My opinion). That is when I enjoyed Playing Drums in Garage bands and even though the U.S. Navy and Viet Nam got in the way for 4 years, I managed to find my way into professional music. Using the stage name Bobby Bush, I Sang and played drums in 5 bands from 1973 to 1979 and playing guitar, I performed mostly as a single act from 1980 to 1984. (See photo in my photos). First was the Dale Kennedy Band based in Reno, Nevada. (Voted Reno''s best dance band 2 years in a row). We also played in 7 western states. Second Was a duo called "Robinson & Bush". (Andy Robinson is a monster musician and one of my oldest friends). We played only in Reno. Third was a Power Band called Pre-Dawn Flight. We rocked ''em in Reno. Fourth Was an 11 piece band in San Diego, Calif. Six members were Lawyers. They owned the club we played in. A Full Horn section and a Female Singer with the voice of an angel, we pleased a lot of patrons with a very tight, full sound. Last was after a move to Portland, Oregon. I Joined up with a guy named Mark Knight. He was a great musician / performer. We called ourselves "Two Much". Sometimes we sounded like four guys. In 1980 I teamed up with Dale and Andy again in Vancouver, Wash. We still made great music together. My music career ended in ''84 when I decided that I had had enough of playing in bars. Now I write good music. However, influence is my wife''s middle name. She has been my rock. Without her, these songs and more may never have come to be. "And I, You" was written expressly for her.
Mahalo, (Thank You) and Aloha,
Bob
