Haven been given an instrument to play at the young age of 5,
has made Prince RaeDon one with the powerful force of Music.
During his school years he had a thirst for music which transcended into the playing of multiple instruments in multiple bands. Learning to play instruments such as drums, steel drums , woodwinds, brass and strings, has made him the producer / artist / engineer
that he is. Prince RaeDon''s love for performing started in Gospel Music when he was only 14.
Being influenced by Gospel Icons such as Walter Hawkins and Andre Crouch he quickly discovered he had a better than average voice and an extraordinary ear for music. As time progressed he discovered his love for Reggae Music,a music projecting for the most part Love and Consciousness. Performing for live audiences became often and the crowds only grew larger with time, including sharing the stage with Reggae greats such as Inner Circle, Pato Banton ,Steel Pulse ,Third World and other Reggae stars. He also has acting credits, landing roles on Tv and the Silver screen with stars such as Marie-Kate and Ashley Olsen and wrestling star Terry" Hulk" Hogan.
Prince RaeDon has grown into a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. He is presently Head Of Communications for Walter Hawkins Productions and The Love Center Ministries and Production Engineer for Toni Tony Tonie and The Dwayne Wiggins Band. In addition he has engineered for lots of big name artists such as: Jeff Lorber , Rachell Farrel , KEM , Slick Rick, Lenny Williams, Midnite Star, Mint Condition Howard Hewitt , Rose Royce ,Bebe Winans , Oleta Adams and so many others. He also teaches Studio and Concert engineering to kids at the Youth Uprising Center in East Oakland, which is dear to his heart. He states"we as adults sometimes forget we were kids once. I feel we should give our youth positive guidance freely and willingly as much as we can in what ever areas of their interests we can penetrate their minds in".
He has recently released his first Reggae Compilation (Caribbean Passion Vol. 1) from his Label Inersha Records and will debut his first solo Reggae project entitled "True Intentions "in July of this year. He also is working on implementing a career center for talented youth in his homeland, St. Thomas U.S.V.I. empowering the youth to grab hold of their dreams and bring them into fruition.
Prince RaeDon sees himself as a teacher and student in the entertainment industry and vows to be around for a long time.
