The Young Leaves are a three-piece indie rock band from Massachusetts. Taking influence from bands such as Dinosaur Jr and The Replacements, as well as singer-songwriters Elvis Costello and Van Morrison, The Young Leaves play a style of so-called "indie rock" that has been missing from the music scene since the mid-90''s. Combining the wild energy of 6''7" monster singer/song-writer Christopher Chaisson and the tight/equally intense instrumentation of drummer Simon Jay and bassist Andy Hume, The Young Leaves play shows as if they were sporting events, making them quite the band to see live.
