Christian hymns and songs are the expression of the holy and spiritual sentiments of the saints formed by their experiences in Christ, their knowledge of God and His truth, and their appreciation, praise and thanksgiving to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. They are necessary both for Christian meetings and for Christian private life in order to fulfill the following purposes:
. To worship God the Father
. To praise the Lord Jesus Christ
. To edify the saints
. To build up the Church
. To fight the spiritual warfare
. To preach the Gospel
The Church has been on the earth for nearly twenty centuries. In such an extended period of time, throughout all the centuries, many beautiful and inspiring hymns and songs have been produced by many saints who have possessed a certain amount of spiritual experiences and knowledge of God through His Word. We follow in their train and are blessed to enjoy all their writings as a rich heritage through the gift of music and song.

Throughout the time of recording the Hymns in this album, I found great blessings within each song. Although they are instrumentals without voice, their song lyrics still flowed through my mind and spirit, making them easy to interpret and very meaningful to my soul. Each Hymn inspired me to play-out their own special meanings and personalities, whether it was praise or prayer, adoration or expression of faith in God.

These beautiful Hymns, written so long ago, still have great meaning to each of our life’s today. The trials that we endure and praises we sing, are just as our Christian brothers and sisters experienced in the past during their own life time. In fact, I find that the Old Gospel Hymns can touch me in such a way that I feel as though they were written especially for me, perhaps you feel that way too!

I truly believe that the Christian Hymns handed down to us from our Christian forefathers will be with us forever, even to be sung in Heaven! And I am most certain that they are a gift from God Himself, JESUS CHRIST, who is to be PRAISED AND ADORED! Giving HIM all the GLORY AND HONOR, FOREVER AND EVER! AMEN!!
