Rock and Roll Singer is a retrospective of George Lee''s work as a young singer/songwriter who discovered the ecstasy of studio recording. The first six tracks are single 45rpm records released between 1975 - 1979. The second six songs represent are from Lee''s three-piece band years as lead singer and guitarist of GEO. Those tracks were featured on the 1982 album, "Made To Be Played" and are virtually recorded live with little overdubbing. It''s a strange mix of pop and garage band blues rock; an ecletic mix of styles, hard rockin'' and vastly entertaining. Listen to the lyrics!
