Originally from South-East San Diego, George Galindo began his career at just 16 yrs old. The young, bilingual (Spanish/English) rap artist was discovered by Maharaji of Sir Mixalot and shortly there after moved to Seattle to further his entry into the Hip-Hop scene. While working with Maharaji in the Bay area during the summer of 1995, George linked up with the Latin-based rappers The Funky Aztecs and later joined the group upon signing with Mercury Records. From his roots as a young rap artist to his latest solo career in 2007, George Galindo is known for his infectious R&B harmonies, crushing lyrical repertoire, and Latin rhythms derived from his unorthodox left handed upside down guitar.
