My name is Gabriele Pala, usually guitar player in the Italian Death Metal band Karnak, the ones that in year 2000 recorded "Melodies Of Sperm Composed", an album that became part of Italian history of progressive death metal, getting pretty good success all around the globe (just search for it in google to verify... ;))
Goldenseed is my side project in which I put everything not possible with a band made of humans (beside me obviously!). I like to experiment with impossible rhythmic divisions and speed, new harmonic concepts and musical structures, but without losing the focus for listenable music.
Within this album you will find anything... from 70s Progressive Rock like Frank Zappa, Area, Balletto di Bronzo to 80s Classical Metal like Judas Priest and King Diamond to 90s Technical Death Metal masterpieces like Cyinc or Pestilence albums.
