Ken Petersen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NYC. Learning music at an early age, Ken has been playing, composing for over thirty years.
In 1971 Ken joined with David Peel and the Lower East Side band.
In 1972 Ken and David Peel joined John Lennon and The Plastic Ono Band for 2 years recording the album "The Pope Smokes Dope".
Ken has been working on his original CD for the past year, "7 Days North of Crazy" (released in March 2007).
Ken plays lead guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica, and vocals.
Ken resides in the state of Oregon in the coastal town of Florence where he plays and has his studio.
