NEW YORK -- After eight years of playing guitar in nothing but cowboy boots, a hat and a pair of briefs (crudely marked "Naked Cowboy," to point out the obvious), Times Square''s most famous street performer is taking his naked ambition to the next level. He''s been hard at work on a monumental debut album as part of his plan for "dominating the commercial landscape of the world."
The music will “rock clubs, bars and dance halls worldwide”. the Cowboy (real name Robert John Burck) said in a recent interview with The Associated Press.
The music on this EP is fun, hard-hitting, high energy and edgy. Crafted by top NYC producers Lee Evans and Gaetano “G-man” Lattanzi of 4 Sight Music Productions, Naked Cowboy admirers are in for a real treat.
Some of the tracks have eyebrow-raising titles, the most prolific, perhaps, being "Get Your Ass Kicked by a Man in his Underwear."

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, NC tried his luck in other cities before bringing his act to Manhattan, where he''s only been arrested twice _ one time for trying to lead the Macy''s Thanksgiving Day Parade and another for crashing a red-carpet event. He makes a comfortable living from tips, licensing deals with local novelty stores, TV commercials and "checks from countless people, I don''t even know where it''s coming from," he said.
In the 3rd quarter of 2006, Naked Cowboy met up and inked a deal with “4 Sight Music Productions” (https://www.tradebit.com) who honed his sound to be “Naked Cowboy Big City Style”. All material was recorded and mixed at JAMBOX Recording NYC (https://www.tradebit.com) The complete album is due for release in late 2007.
Since joining forces with 4 Sight Music Productions, Naked Cowboy was the focus of a global press release issued by the Associated Press. As a result, MTV News did an exclusive interview highlighting his new music venture with 4 sight music productions. He has also appeared in a 2007 Super Bowl commercial for Chevrolet, was featured in the final sequence of rapper “Redman’s” latest music video and even has a 50 foot M&M “undressed” in his likeness in NYC’s famous Times Square. To top things off, Naked Cowboy and his new band “Rocked the stage” at the 2007 South By Southwest Rock extravaganza..
