born as percy leon wilson, he started out at an early age roaming the streets of new orleans admiring artists such as soulja slim. he began to write filling up a shoe box with rhymes he wrote about his family & life growing up in "da jungle" as the call it. percy and his family moved to atlanta, georgia for a better up bringing and better opportunities. he teamed up with his neighbors reese and boom boom of b three records and join a group called neighbahood collaboration and at the same time was working on his solo project.
percy now p''leon has wrote, recorded and performed in atlanta, georgia and neighboring cities, building a very strong following. he has opened up for rap artist "young buck of g-unit" in north carolina in 2004 and in 2005 he performed on atlanta radio statio, hot 107.9 wing festival, birthday bash which is one of the biggest summer events of atlanta opening up for "marco decoca and the sandman" with hit single "j''s at my door". also in 2005 opende up for rap artists "juvenile and utp" in cordele, ga. p''leon has performed on ptv, cable channel 24 in atlanta. he has been spotted on upn 69, live wit da oomp camp" and interview by the south # 1 dj jelly.
this acheivement has reached the ears of rap artist "sammy sam who has the hit single stepdaddy" and has collaborated with neighbahood collaboration on a track called "posted up". to all who heard his new orleans slang and captivation lyrics, it was obvious that p''leon, da son of da south had a higher destiny, thus his career began. p''leon creastes masterpieces and who knew the shoe box he kept full of rhymes would one day be shared with the world.
