At tender young age of 6 her mother discovered her girl had a musical talent, when she began to play her grandfather’s acoustic guitar. Through her love for the guitar, she began to explore different avenues of music including classical, rock, pop and even Latino grooves.
After years of exploring music, Angelica discovered that she had a voice that was just waiting to be developed. She caught the eye of her elite grammar school performing arts prospectus and began singing in various musicals to begin developing her voice, she appeared in Toni award winning musicals such as HONK and ONE NIGHT THE MOON.
In May 2004 Angelica was approached by the savvy Celebrity Manager Joey Sulfaro from The Satellite Agency to be a client in his agency, he has been quoted saying…she has what it takes... her voice sits between Beyonce and Christina Aguilera and is destined for success…Joey placed Angelica at the Australian National Institute of Dramatic Arts NIDA in Sydney, she has also been performing at various Award and Charity functions also Corporate events. Her love for children has seen her perform to over 5,000 children at the Variety Club Children’s yearly fundraiser with huge raves. Angelica also performed at the Australian Kids Expo and received critical acclaim as Australia''s vibrant young and new exciting sound.
Sulfaro saw Angelica’s ability to capture her audience so he decided to look at the USA for some answers. Sulfaro was approached for Angelica to co-host with actor and comedian Eddie Griffin at the prestigious Hollywood Breakthrough Awards to which he accepted the huge celebrity event, and so it began... Next The TV Soap Awards, where Angelica opened and performed the Aussie hit “Absolutely Everybody” to Hollywood’s elite, she also co-hosted at the Golden Boomerang Awards in Beverly Hills, to which she had the honor of being awarded Miss Golden Boomerang for 2006. Angelica was chosen by Samsung Japan to star in a leading world commercial which will be released later this year.
2007 will now showcase "HOT TONIGHT" and ANGELICA the artist her versatility and her true talent, her new recordings will be released in the first quarter of the year. Where will it take Angelica... it''s only a matter of time when the Clive Davis''s of the entertainment world realize that we have a major talent on our hands and create an industry buzz that will take her on the journey that the entertainment world has to offer a young 19 year old girl.......
Sulfaro’s plans are to pursue Music, Television and Branding opportunities for Angelica in Australia and the USA in 2007 - 2008.
