Details:
"Imagine a cross between Joy Electric, Ghost Stories, and Nine Inch Nails...and you might begin to have some idea of what Orchard of Comradery sounds like. This band is the project created by the one-man-band consisting of Edward Davidson (who also plays live with the British band Attrition). The Company is a long album...clocking in at over 75 minutes in length. During the course of these fifteen compositions, Davidson crafts some very precise, complex modern progressive tunes that combine the dark with the light. His overall sound is very different from what we normally hear from totally solo projects. Instead of catchy, happy pop...this album features dark, serious progressive tracks that range from soft and pensive to light industrial. A lot of time and thought was obviously spent creating this album...and it shows. Odd, obtuse cuts include ''Ancient,'' ''The Audition,'' ''All I Need,'' and ''Forever Gone.''"

Orchard of Comradery is a one-man band from Minneapolis, MN consisting of composer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer Edward Davidson. Taking influence from an endless and ever-growing list of artists, composers, and musicians, he has thus far released two albums which have covered and extended from the rock, darkwave, and pop genres. His debut album, The Fruit on the Vine, was released in 2005 and features a mix of rock with pop, electro, and classical stylings. His newest release, The Company, takes on a softer, darker tone and shows an expanding instrumentation, making further use of folk instruments and electronics. Edward is currently working on a new album for release sometime in 2007, and rehearsing with his new live line-up. Edward also plays synthesizers with the legendary English electronic group Attrition, recently finishing the first leg of their 25th anniversary U.S. tour, and runs a recording studio in St. Paul, MN.
