Captain_Primo grew up in Southern California.
A 45 year old at the time of 2002 picked up a small keyboard and played every-time he was doing nothing to make sounds, and it started to sound good, one day he had a thought of making his own exercise video, but he was talking to friends he decided that it was even better then that...so he started to record music. They weren''t songs yet because he thinks that songs should have lyrics, and that makes the best music, so day after day he explored many types of arrangements he could make with that little keyboard. At Christmas he got a brand new larger keyboard, and that really seamed to make a huge difference in him, because soon after that he started to sing, and it was horse, because he had no equipment, no mixers no anything to tone and add effects.
Captain_Primo. really doesn''t have much experience in music or keyboards for that matter, he did go to college in 1977 after getting out of the Army, but for only one semester, he really didn''t get much out of going, so he got out of college and National Guard, and while he was moving around from town to town he was getting some ideas about how he would set up his one man band using high techno gear that wasn''t invented yet, but it was looking really good to him, including his stage performances at looks or created imagined stage equipment and props. He was already designing his equipment and props, including the portable stages and all.
As for being a performer, it just seamed to be his destiny, C.P. is not a want to be performer, it just seems to be in his blood.
Captain_Primo was more interested in becoming an inventor , and has thought up many very interesting things and concept , many are now in use today, but were not patented by him and he receives no compensation. This is a major play in what happened to C.P. Soon after the facts were presented. C.P. has been hospitalized for major nervous breakdowns during thoughs days, he wasn''t sure if his life couldn''t mount to much after that.
C.P. took strong to the Gospel, and went to several churches, assuming he would become a preacher, but his heart didn''t stay fixed to religion after seeing many hypocrites in his path, but his heart still belongs to the Lord. C.P. still would like to consider writing music for the Lord, but hasn''t received his calling to that just yet, but feels it is in his destiny to do so. Right now C.P. wants to enjoy the rhythm of making his own music and music styles and variations entertaining in concerts in the near future.
C.P. loves to sing love songs and dance to music, he loves to come up with new and interesting sound scape''s, similar to that of the new age style , but mix that with techno and dance music ..you have the C.P. experience. While you can find some of this in out there, you can assume that it was all ready in C.P.s heart and mind for years before he heard it just this year 2005. C.P. is listening to some he heard just in the month of January. When he recently bought the program to make music on his computer, while knowing that techno gear equipment is known to be very expensive, computers and computer programs are making it possible for the low budget folks to afford some, and learn how to adjust from real to cyber, it''s like distinguishing from reality to dream state
C.P. records all of his music on the spare of the moment. with unrehearsed or written materials, or preconceived thoughts. This Music and Lyrics is Improv. This can only show and prove that C.P. really is a true inventor and innovator of many things including his music, and really only does it for his listeners and friends.
C.P. was married for almost a complete 10 years raising 5 children 2 his own, till one day he told his wife that he wanted a divorce. C.P. knew that marriage was stifling his creative potential, and he knew that he had to be free of the hardships and interferences from the family marriage life brought to him. Assuming that the nervous breakdowns were the cause of the difference in his short comings of holding up in the marriage life, and to clam so, he has his music of today to show for it.
It was after 2 years that C.P. realized his past dreams and ideas of being in persute of a music career, when in the marriage life, it was all most completely lost and forgotten.
WE want to welcome you to the new era of Captain_Primo, and hope that you gain much happiness from the really cool Captain_Primo, as he just now starts to merge out into the world with several CD''s ready for market
