Joyce Carberry-Scott and Dani Dalinian have been writing music for over 15 years. Their partnership began just a year ago.
They wrote "Sweet Virginia" specifically for the Virginia Tech Community.
In fact, this New England community who joined together to present this gift to Virginia Tech, stretches from Cape Cod to New Hampshire! BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC in Boston collaborated by offering premium space and equipment at no cost! Josh Mosser, a Berklee grad, engineered and produced "Sweet Virginia" and managed the project. Tom Dixon, of N.H., was lead singer, joined by the very talented Rajdulare, a freshman at Berklee. Rob Cross, drummer extraordinaire joined us and Brandon Powell played bass as only HE can!
Brian Sachs, owner of Drumlin Downe in E. Kingston, NH, donated his fabulous studio AND helped in a million ways!
We all did this for ONE reason.....to let the Virginia Tech Community know that we feel their pain and that we want to support them at this difficult time.
