I am a wife and mother of seven children in a stable supportive home environment. I have ministered in song in several different settings including weddings, funerals, proms, talent showcases, political banquets, revivals, birthday parties, class reunions and much more. I believe that Christianity is a lifestyle and the only way for my message to be true is to live what I say. I teach it to my children at home; I teach it to my Sunday School Class; and I sing it everywhere I go. I know that God has given me a message for the nation and I pray that you are blessed by it as I continue to grow in Christ.
I am a member of Voices Crying for Souls Outreach Ministries in Baxley, Ga. It is in the house of God where I learned the difference in singing and ministering in song. There is a greater purpose for my music than to just make you feel good. My prayer is that it will minister to you, cause you to do a self-examination, and inspire you to a closer relationship with Christ.
I have completed my first gospel CD entitled "Conversations". "Conversations" was written with the New Believer in mind. I believe that the people that are new to the Body of Christ need special attention and discipleship. That discipleship can come through teaching in various settings whether in a Classroom, Bible Study, Sunday School, or Song. The CD consists of 10 songs that were written by me. These songs were inspired by my personal relationship with Christ, teaching that I have received, and situations that I have encountered.
I am known in this area for my rendition of "Alabaster Box" by CeCe Winans. That song ministers to me as I minister to others. This journey for Christ is not an easy one, but a purposeful one. Noone knows the cost. There is a price for ministry, and because of that sacrifice, I have decided to completely surrender to this call in my life and sing to the glory of the Lord. I''ve come to far to stop now!
