MP3 Resets - Rise To The Top

Ornamental Mock Rock For Young and Old.

10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Hard Rock, ROCK: Punk

Details:
One day a while back, Dave Ford called Caleb Bue and asked if he wanted to make some noise. Caleb said he would love to and grabbed his four and one half pound Samik nylon string and trekked over to Dave’s bedroom. Upon arrival, Caleb told Dave of an ancient tale about a sandy witch who lived in a time before all space and time, and who sunbathed on the beaches of time. Immediately Dave began playing the inside part of many 25 cent bin records which crackled and made popping sounds. Caleb then began to play senseless notes and chords along on the crappy 5string Samik. The Resets were born.
Being half of Seattle''s premiere electronic duo Logic Probe, Dave was the perfect candidate for composing, arranging and programming the sequences The Resets required to drive their inescapably catchy tunes. Lemmy the Laptop, a fairly crummy Dell, was used for this purpose but fell ill near the end of the recording of "Rise To The Top" and had to be replaced with a Sony. Lemmy is given credit on the record but has since died.
Another day a while back, The Resets went to the oracle of KLED and preemptively apologized for the blatant theft of their brilliant drummer known as ButtCake. Brian Oppel''s integration into the band was slick and seamless, resulting in the early retirement of Lemmy II (though he''s still used for some songwriting).
This debut record, "Rise To The Top" is a chronicle of the first year of The Resets’ rise to stardom. The obvious title of the release is a testament to their commitment and dedication to the ornamental mock rock that fuels The Resets’ every song, recording and stage show. Though Brian is not on the record, his presence has somehow retroactively found its way into each song. His fresh reinterpretations of the songs during recent performances have left several admirers in utter shambles.
Each song on "Rise To The Top" was carefully selected to give the maximum rockness and was designed for the sole purpose of making one million dollars. Look for The Resets'' second album "Do Over" out in the summer of 2008. Buy "Rise To The Top." You will enjoy it thoroughly.
