This album is very upbeat with joy and energy all through it. It has several types of music, with some native sounds put to contemporary backgrounds, melodic lead lines put to active, moving backgrounds. Even a couple of hymns (Amazing Grace, hidden in the track titled Country Grace, and What a Friend, not so hidden in the track titled, Sunrise Friend). There are several orchestrated tracks, without the flute, and many that have soaring melodies. I hope you enjoy this album.
Don has been performing music since a small child, beginning at age 6, becoming a church organist at age 12. His choral arrangements during high school taught him to put together harmonies and melodies that grab your attention. Don has been making native american flutes since 1998 and uses several of his flutes on this album. Don is a practicing dentist in Southern California, married 38 years, two kids and two grandkids( who are captured laughing on the song entitled Meadow Playground). He hopes you find his music enjoyable, uplifting, stress relieving and renewing of your joy and peace. His favorite saying is: Remember, life is not a destination, but a journey.
