I was born in Montegomery County, Ohio. As a small child the family picked up and moved to Northern California (around the sacramento area). I Grew up listing to Ricky Nelson, Buddy Holly, and my favorite John Fogerty, Plus all of the 60s rock n roll and the 70 s country music.
After many years of taking music lessons here and there, I finanaly decided to do what I like best, and that is writing songs. I did play with a few local no name bands, but never really found that sound that I was looking for. Through the years I learned to play a few instruments, which has come in handy when putting my own songs together. Recently I retired from a eight to five job that I was at for ninteen years, so I could move back to the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas.
I play occationaly with a local band but mostly spend time writing new material. And thats were I''m at today. Michael Emmet Green
