Joe Morson is an Annapolis, MD based pianist/composer who has followed up his first release, To A Better Place, with an inspired sophomore effort, One Day. This collection of original piano solos attempts to trace the different moods and emotions one might experience over the course of a single day.
One Day certainly captures a variety of sentiments, mixing in several contemplative and somber pieces with a few upbeat tunes. It is clear that Mr. Morson finds inspiration in his own personal experiences, and that translates easily while listening to his music.
