Details:
10 years of Rock music started when I first put together an experimental demo on my Tascam 246 4 track recorder back in 1997. I was so excited beyond mere words to send in couple of cds to a new little online company called CDBaby.

Pinch myself...could it be a dream? Could I actually do music as I wanted to do it with my home recorder? Up to then, I was in bands that didn''t trust in the importance of musical freedom or the power of equal imput from fellow band mates. There was always this kind of dictatorship that seemed to prevail and unfortunately that was the norm. But that was a good experience as I found the importance of a musical democracy and the excellence it can bring to the musical equation. I felt musicians should be able to collaborate and be free to add their incredible and awe inspiring input without all the difficulty that I had experienced previously in my musical career.

As time went along Temporary Power definately gained some fine musicians who I felt very honored to work with. Things gained momentum and as creativity flowed and more elaborate recordings seem to come about each year, I found the music pushing the boundaries of convention. Trusting this is what Progressive Rock music is all about, Temporary Power became a much needed outlet for the multitide of ideas that are always swarming in the mind of crazy musicians. Here''s to Temporary Power taking us places we can only imagine.

Very special thanks to the musicians who added their magic and dragged the dream into reality and helped to make this CD truly rock!!!

Bill MacKechnie (ANUBIS SPIRE) - Lead Guitars on "J10"

Jason Lively - Drums on "J10" and "Lady of the Lake"

Tommy Tabano - Bass guitar intro on "After the Storm"

Neil McDermitt - Synth programing on "Robotic World"

Danny Hamilton (EVE''s PASS) - Bass guitar on "Lady of the Lake"

Paul Martin (GOLDAIR STUDIO) - Sound effects on "Lady of the Lake"

Joe Malmuth (HOLLYWOOD LOVESCENE)- Bass guitar on "The Moment the Soul Arrives" video

John Vazquez - Drums on "The Moment the Soul Arrives" video.

A big thanks to Randy Powell who appeared throughout 10 on bass with Deitrich Sanders, the drum specialist.

Everyone who collaborated to with Temporary Power over the past few years, you have truly helped to make it the kick ass rock and roll that it is...and you all are truly inspiring musicans.

Working with great musicians is something I always look forward to and something I can never grow tired of...thank you for enriching my life!

We all agree the truest thanks goes out to those who believe in and support local talent and independent music!

It seems fans of different stuff like ours spend time traversing the internet and searching for new music. I am so glad to be part of something so powerful where we have a worldwide medium to communicate.

As indie artists, we definately realize the importance of people who care and never underestimate the support of great people who believe in the purity and simplicity of indie music. You are, in reality, making the industry pure and literally the catalyst to keeping it real.

I have to say this has been one of the most rewarding things I have found in music over the years; the people I meet through these musical pathways are unforgettable and it is one of music''s most awesome rewards...ahh yes, meeting the cool people who are ravenous for great music and I am also thankful for the chances to see live, and on occasion, even meet my inspiring rock heros.

All I can say is music is for everybody and has never been a criminal waste of time like many powers that be would have us to believe.

If anything, music that matters is a conviction of the heart and carries a tremendous amount of energy and has a message as well and since musicans have emotional needs to manifest and create, it is important to have and maintain outlets for their creativity.

Wayne Dyer says it best: "We are a drop of water in the great ocean of God and the Universe. A small drop isn''t as powerful as the ocean...but it is comprised of all the same incredible elements; and we can not be away from our source."

We can at times be reduced to rubble like an insignificant sandcastle in front of the great Mother Ocean and our ego (or our false sense of reality) doesn''t like this when it happens.

But I think this is a very important step in our musical evolution and we pick up the instruments with greater momentum and then we begin to return to ourselves and we are now on our way to being more complete human beings and we are resonating with others who are doing the same thing in other artistic mediums, as we allign ourselves with energy that is much larger than ourselves.

Just to let you know, the love here on Earth is stopping it from imploding. So this is a recording that is dedicated to how it takes everything we''ve got to be a part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

Thank you so much for giving the music a listen and for your support!

Sincerely,

Mike Ward / Guitarist / Founder of Temporary Power
