Details:
The Willys have reached a milestone with their new recording: "Butterteeth Smile!" Butterteeth Smile is their sixth (fourth studio) release since the band formed more than ten years ago. The Willys still write fun, eclectic alternative power pop songs, it''s just that they keep getting better and better at recording and playing them!
The Willys continue to entertain the good folks of Adams & York County Pennsylvania with favorite party time classics and fabulous songs that discernable music lovers are fascinated to hear and see performed live.
The band members have seen it all: opening for national/international acts, large and small clubs, weddings, birthday parties, lounge music, commercial radio interview shows, street fairs and ringing in the New Year "whole town on the square" style. The Willys have been 98.5 The Peak''s only 3 time Battle of the Bands finalist, three years in a row!
Willys music nows spans the globe with their recordings. There are tons of Willys lovers in England, Sweden, Australia, Japan, Africa, Iceland, Russia and perhaps in a town near you!
"Butterteeth Smile" was recorded at Noteworthy Studios out of Gettysburg, PA. Engineer Bob Ranalli worked closely with the band to ensure that the finest performance and recording techniques were implemented, without computer assisted technology....what you hear is what he got! Smashing vocal performances and harmonies, Vox AC30''s turned to "11" and tender acoustic ballads with sentimental messages all tastefully sung and played.
