Phil Istomin. Born and raised in Moscow, Russia. Phil has been the sole mastermind of MANICproject for a few years now, but SQUAREONE marks the first "official" release. The album took over 3 years to develop and complete. The majority of the music was recorded in Analog, final mix and treatment in GarageBand. The album focuses on the state of America and the world today with some personal issues mixed in. The music is very textured and layered, at times soundtrack-like.
