The beauty and cruelty of love are the staples of this album with songs such as "How Can This Be", "Hearts Are Made For Love" and the CD titled, "A Dream Away". For those who want to laugh to keep from crying, there is the nursery rhyme flavor and humor of, "Don''t Play Hide And Sneak". The track "A Dream Away" is a tribute to, who i think is one of if not THE greatest R&B tenor ever, Eddie Kendrick of The Temptations. Also, "If Love Is Stricken" is a tribute to Jackie Wilson. May they both RIP. Notice i said they are tributes and not out and out imitations. Jackie and Eddie both had unique sounds which were awesome and inspiring.
I hope that each song of this cd grabs a part of your soul and not let go until your heart can stand it no more. The title and concept of "America Bless God", is from George "Circling Eagle" Tooks, producer of "Ultimate Love For You". Though there is nothing at all wrong with saying, "God Bless America", with the recent hurricanes, the war, past wars, and the many conflicts this country has seen in the past four hundred years, it''s a wonder we''re still here. So, why not say, "America Bless God" for a change? So get comfortable and take a romantic rollercoaster ride in song with me.
