STAN BUSH "In This Life" (July 2007 LA Records)

Praised as a world-class rock singer, Stan Bush is best known for his song “The Touch” featured in the Transformers Movie. Stan’s new album includes “The Touch” as a bonus track on his U.S. release, as well as “Til All Are One”, theme song for the Transformers convention (BotCon), where Stan will be a featured performer. With powerful melodies that have made Stan a popular artist around the world, his new album is his best ever!

Producer and guitarist Holger Fath has helped Stan create a masterpiece with “In This Life”. The title song has an almost spiritual message about searching for truth. “Take It All the Way” is about going for it! Other songs on the album are about love and life, and all share a common message of living life full-out! “Southern Rain” is a heartfelt ‘unplugged’ acoustic song about Stan’s early years growing up in Florida, and features a guest appearance by guitarist Rocket Richotte (David Lee Roth, Rick Springfield, Steppenwolf).

The musicians on “In This Life” include drummer Matt Laug (Slash’s Snakepit, Alice Cooper, Richard Marx, Eddie Money, Anastacia), and Lance Morrison on bass guitar (Alanis Morissette, Don Henley, New Radicals, Rod Stewart). Holger Fath’s guitar work, production, arrangements, and keyboard programming all combine to make it a brilliant rock album! Holger was on three Grammy winning albums as guitarist and arranger, and worked with top European bands, and has co-written three top 40 hit songs. Additional keyboards: Dirk Nagel. Tracking and mixing of “In This Life”: Michael Blum, Titan Studios. Michael also worked with The Who, Pink Floyd, Madonna, etc,… Songwriters on the album include Stan, Holger, and Curt Cuomo (Kiss, Eddie Money, Edgar Winter).

Tracks from Stan’s previous albums have appeared in several major films. "The Touch" was the title track for "Transformers: The Movie", and was also featured in the movie, “Boogie Nights”. "Heart vs Head" appeared in the movie "The Wraith," starring Charlie Sheen. In addition, Stan sang the title tracks for two Jean-Claude Van Damme films: "Kickboxer", a major film sequel to the highly successful action adventure film, "Bloodsport."

In 1997, Stan won an Emmy Award for Best Original Song. "Til I Was Loved By You" was featured on Guiding Light, a popular American soap opera. Another of his songs "Capture the Dream" was featured in the 1996 Olympic Games, and aired on NBC in a special tribute to the Gold Medalists of the U.S. Swim Team. "Capture the Dream" was also used for the World Cup Soccer Championship.

As a vocalist, Stan has sung on albums by established artists such as Alice Cooper and Jefferson Starship, and has worked with many top producers (Ron Nevison, Georgio Moroder, Andy Johns, Mick Jones, Desmond Child, Peter Frampton, Paul Stanley, Richie Zito), in addition to singing national commercials: Coors, Toyota, Budweiser, Mazda, Hertz, etc...

Stan has co-written with many of top songwriters like Jonathan Cain (Journey), Jim Vallance (Bryan Adams; Aerosmith), and Paul Stanley of Kiss. Stan’s songs have received covers from many notable bands. "Love Don''t Lie" was covered by House of Lords, and "Slave To Love" was recorded by Quiet Riot. Stan has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe.
