Details:
Songs and music like a conversation between good friends. Composed, arranged, sung, and largely played by Ariana Attie, this CD gives you a pathway to the emotions of love, life, beauty, and joy. Songs to lift the spirit, empower, and inspire. Soul stirring vocals soar over an eclectic mix from high energy to smooth and soothing - from modern pop to gospel to world groove textures. The INSPIRE CD is the result of Ariana''s desire to raise funds for seven of her favorite charities. She is donating 100% of the profits from sales to Doctors Without Borders, Habitat For Humanity, Heifer International, The Center For Peace Through Culture, The Nature Conservancy and Saint Jude Children''s Research Hospital.

Ariana practically came out of the womb singing. Fast forward to her first career while in high school as a designer of watches and jewelry. Then she began designing costumes for a burgeoning Los Angeles ballet company. Fresh out of school she began what became a successful career as a fashion designer. (She had no idea yet that she was going to become a musician.) Opening her own menswear business with her partner, singer Lou Rawls, she quickly won a National Design award for her creations. Her work and interviews appeared in the Calendar and View sections of the L.A. Times and Newsweek Magazine, as well as in the major fashion trade magazines.

Then marriage took her away from the fake tinsel of the fashion world for the real tinsel of baking pies. That lasted for about six months (not the marriage, the stay at home career). Back to the design world, designing fashions for female types, but with a growing and strong pull to create music, she began spending nights and weekends fronting a jazz band called Zephyr.

Then she was writing for and performing with a country/rock band High Noon, garnering rave reviews from Music Connection ("a most captivating and original singer . . . strong, personable stage presence..."). Brought to the attention of the Olympic committee, High Noon was given the opportnity to play three consecutive nights to thousands at the Olympic Village.

Since then she has added her talents to an array of musical projects. Among the highlights are: composer of the title themes for the "Future Consciousness" TV show and the "Ancient Wisdom For the Twenty First Century" TV show, on the air since 2004. One of her songs has been heard in the TV series "Hard Times On Planet Earth."

She had an indie record label deal with Sovi Records who released her debut record "Midnight Appetite" reviewed by R&B Magazine ("You''ll be quite impressed with Midnight Appetite. We''ll be hearing a lot more from her.") She performed a national tour as lead singer and dancer with Deja Vu.

Awards include being honored as one of the winners of the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, and a Harmony Sweepstakes national a capella competition award as a member of The Joy Of Six. Her songs have been recorded by other artists including Pegasus Project.

Have a listen and enjoy!
