..BLACKWOOD.., which is comprised of rappers Realis (B. Frank Barrington) , 2Rise (Dustin Perkins) , and Lotty (Joseph Caldwell) , is a southern rap group that is on the innovative verge of greatness. All members of the group are proudly representing the state of Florida; 2Rise and Lotty are from Orlando while Realis hails from Monticello, which is about 20 miles outside of the state capital of Tallahassee. A local rising artist, Kid G, says that the group has a lot of untouched talent that is just now being tapped. This bio is directed towards radio stations, local club owners, other artist and producers, music listeners of all types, and all possible investors of 1 Life 1 Time Entertainment, which features the group BLACKWOOD. At this time, BLACKWOOD is completing all paperwork needed to make their music a business. ASCAP and numerous copyrights paperwork have been completed for recorded songs and the business license, PO Box, and Trademark Paperwork has been sent out. The band is currently putting the finishing touch (mastering) of the latest smash album ..Hustler..s Prayer.. which will be due out in stores around mid to late April of 08. BLACKWOOD also plans to promote their album by selling tee shirts, hats and giving out posters that are also in the works as you read. BLACKWOOD formed in the year of 2001. The group started out recording in 2Rise..s home studio in his parents house and later built a new recording studio in his recently purchased house. The group is forming a Business because they want to promote other local artist and promote personal group projects with the income. The group also plans to give back to the community in the forms scholarships and help with other grants to help better the community.
