Details:
"Better Late" is the powerful first solo release by artist J Fandino. J brings together a collection of hooks, melodies, big rhythms and ultra creative lyrics to drive his diverse and catchy songs. He blends fluid, strong bluesy guitar work into his pop rock songs that add a great edge to the music. His talent to successfully communicate a distinctive sound is only part of his ability to draw his listeners in. With Pop Rock songs like "Little Boys" and "Better Late" you get a taste of his musical flair. Rocking Blues tunes like "Never The Same" and "I Don''t Need" and even the more rock edged "Lucky Stars" will have you singing along. The simplistic yet creative song "Nothing" is bound to be a hit with everyone. "That Train" is a ballad that draws from personal and emotional experience while delivering a sense of optimism.

From his beginnings in Atlanta, Ga. J was fascinated with guitar based rock and pop, leaning toward bands that had strong melodic content, good backbeats and crisp harmony. J’s influences touched many genres including rock, pop, blues and others which come forward in his writing and performance. Some of these influences included The Rolling Stones, Bad Company, Badfinger, Hendrix and later Pearl Jam, Blues Traveler, Uncle Kracker, Match Box 20 and Third Eye Blind are of few of the many talents that inspired J and his own original style.

After a stint of touring with cover and original bands in the southeast music scene J decided to leave the band for other pursuits. Though he stopped performing he never stopped playing and knew that one day he would return to his passion- music. Music was a strong influence in J''s life from the beginning. "I have been fortunate in that I was always exposed to different styles of music growing up. My Father was a guitar player and my Mother played piano. Both of them had very diverse musical tastes and I think that influence helps you in your writing. I believe it opens up your melodic potential. Finally I decided to produce some of my material. I guess it really is Better Late than Never. There is nothing I would rather be doing than playing and writing music."
