French singer/songwriter of Country-Folk and Blues-Rock music, born on February 6th 1980 and installed in Belgium since March 2005, Mylene L. Chamblain already did several concerts in France, in England, in the United States and in Lithuania.
It is often said that she is the "French Sheryl Crow"
At the age of 13, she learned drums during one full year and she started little by little to sing. One year later, she decided to learn the guitar by herself so that she can sing her own songs. Her first song entitled: "Hold Fast" become her first album name in 1994.
This is her first work (1999 - 2000) as organizer in a Country Club in
France, which will make her become aware of her true passion. It launched her on a career as musician and then she started to meet some artists in France - violonist: Leonrad Zandstra, lead singer and guitarist of the blues band Awek: Bernard Sellam, the harmonicist: Stephane Bertolino, the English radio presenter: Clive Rawlings, (emission "Just Music") at Oxygene FM.
He managed Mylene during the "Solo Acoustic Tour" in England (Sussex) in 2004. She met also good artists in New Mexico (Albuquerque - USA) during her journey in 2002 like the Rock''n''Roll band: the "Memphis P. Tails" and the Rockabilly singer/songwriter: Billy Folchi.
She recorded the album "Hold Fast" at "Zero Studio" (the sound engineer: Roger Sheperd began his career at the major E.M.I Music in Glasgow). Very interested by the analogical recording, she owes him, the presence, in her 1st album, of the mythical 70''s instruments such as Rhodes and the Hammond Organ.
Since her arrival in Belgium, Mylene has already attracted attention of Francis Delvaux, presenter of the emission "Classic Country" on RTBF "Classic 21" in Belgium and account also since January 2006 some concerts with her new official band. The group together since june 2005 has unfortunately lived on July 22, the death of their friend and drumer, Claude Lelarge (drumer in the band since october 2005).
