Guitarist Trevin Pinto paints over top of the beats & grooves with equal parts insinuating funk and arena bombast, slinking through songs like a phantom one moment, chugging through your guts like a freight train the next.
This brand of inventiveness might make a lesser outfit crash & burn under the weight of its ideas, but PCP rides the razor-edge, never falling into predictability, tiptoeing along the precipice to chaos, but never caving in.
