Johnny Razor, aka John M. Reisert is a songwriter, musician, recording engineer, professional sports car racer, and emergency medicine physician. Located in Southern Indiana Johnny played in numerous bands in the Louisville Kentucky area and worked in the recording field as a songwriter, performer, and recording session musician in Nashville Tennessee during the late 1970''s and early 1980''s bringing the New Wave and Progressive Nashville Sound to other markets.
Working with established sound engineer Ken Laxton at his Nashville studio and writing songs financed medical school.
As a racer Johnny runs F2000 racers in the F2000 Championship Series in the United States and holds numerous professional racing licenses.
His music is a mixture of R&B, Indiana Pop/Rock "Mellencamp" style, with some modern old school rock thrown in for good measure. An occasional ballad is showcased to provide an insight into the madness that stirs within this "lost soul" who can''t decide what he wants to be when he grows up.
An eclectic mix of catchy tunes and enough hooks to run around in your head Johnny''s writing is expressive of love gone good and bad, but that never leaves the soul and cries to get out.
