While studying music, I left a tennis scholarship at North Texas State University in 1975 to be a rock star. I arrived in Los Angeles with only my 1965 Impala and drums. At A+M Records I met George Harrison, and saw how crazy the business was, so I returned to college at U.C. Santa Barbara. I fell in love with film as an art form and graduated with a degree in TV and Film, and a minor in English. I guess Jim Morrison and I have a few things in common. I played the Sunset Strip with Powerplay in the 1980''s, and put my own band together a year later. I was living a rock stars life. I never thought this music was good enough to shop, but good enough for a feature film L.A.
