Composing and playing bass for 25 years, Alex Bershansky is among Israel''s most accomplished musicians.
As a teenager, he had the opportunity to play with some of Israel''s top musicians both on TV and radio.
As well as performing, Alex recorded a project with a jazz
fusion band RTZ, in the late 90''s, and toured in Europe for a year. After returning to Israel, Alex, in collaboration with drummer Utsi
Zimring, started a jazz-fusion band named ZONZEE.
To date, the band has released two albums,
(Time flies/1999, Buzz/2004), the second of
which featured legendary guitarist Mike Stern, and received great praise from the press.
Zonzee has performed in Jazz festivals around
the world, including the Red sea Jazz festival, and Rigas Ritmi. They were also asked to represent Israel in places like THE BLUE NOTE NY, by the ministry of foreign affairs.
