Details:
Bristol Pomeroy hails from Seattle where he started his first band called "Undercurrent" with Dan Barfod and Phil Jones. After a few years, and some local success, that band broke up and Bristol went on to play bass for the Downtubes headed up by Jim Hunnicutt from Pure Joy. After some rave reviews and lots of shows that band unfortunately broke up. Bristol went on to play guitar in a short lived instrumental group with two former members of Weather Theater. When they broke up he played with Ken Alton in Rural Swale. Ken is still in Seattle and plays in a great band called Select Six. Bristol moved to New York in 93 to attend SUNY Purchase and earn a degree in Acting. He''s done tons of Off Off Broadway and even more Off Off Off Broadway, but he refuses to do Off Off Off Off Broadway. Whatwith all the acting, he found himself with an inner yearning to get back into music and so he started recording songs on a 4 track and playing all the instruments. He produced a CD called "Home" and he''s very proud of it. His mom loves it. After a year or two he did another one "Bedtime Stories" in which he tried to improve his songwriting skills and recording skills. It''s been getting airplay in Oregon and he''s really happy with it. He will be starting a band soon as well that will play around in NYC.
