CMc (aka Chris McGovern) was born and raised in Queens, NY and grew up on rock and roll and classical music. He studied classical piano, but had a tough time keeping such a heavy commitment to it. He wasn''t bitten by the songwriting bug until he moved to Connecticut, and voila, an artist was born. Heavily influenced in style by Billy Joel, Elvis Costello, REM, and probably a bunch of others, CMc hopes to stand out on his own in the huge mosaic that is our music world at present.
