Most new bands claim to have an original sound then dissapointingly re-hash the genre-du-jour. We''ve heard it all before, and it was better the first time around. Dyonisis are a genuine breath of musical fresh air.
We play with layering etherial soundscapes driven along by pulsing basslines. Two voices individual from each other, yet blending together, weaving emotion, memories and impressions into unique songs embroidered by haunting guitarlines that soar and take our music to another level.
Formed in 2005 when Marcus & Lou joined the song writing duo of Tom & Nel, the band hit the live scene running, building a following and playing with the likes of Manuskript & Killing Miranda. The journey has involved ever bigger shows, alongside a number one in the Pzaaz download chart and footage on a soon to be released live DVD.
