Hardison began in Seattle in 2000 by shawn "hardyrock" hardison with the release of Dead Comedians on Dig Records (phat sidy smokehouse, super sonic soulpimps) Hardison played a live performance on Kexp during that time and went back east to tour the south with members of Rein Sanction backing him. In 2004 he massed together a fresh band in seattle and began work on "time and cash" This album features a hiphop fusion track with Ishmael Butler of
Digable Planets and Hardison''s first budget video for Kodak produced by Brian Udovich (afi emmy winner) and directed by Tarin Anderson (Decemberists 16 military wives) A west coast tour in 2005 followed the release of Time and Cash and with the same crew, they continued playing locally in Seattle before returning to the studio to record THIS. Another west coast tour is being planned for this fall.
