Beyond the Ants is a compilation of mostly instrumental, electronic, ambient sounds created between February and April of 2007. Kevin L Nicht is an accomplished musician/songwriter/vocalist/artist from Baltimore, MD, where he played various venues in the early 90’s with his original alternative rock group, the Very Ants. The Very Ants’ demo CD, “It’s All Greek To Me”, is available for download and purchase via https://www.tradebit.com. Kevin has since settled in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he performs regularly for the Crosspoint worship band at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Finneytown. That group’s most recent recording, entitled “Declare”, is due out in mid-2007 and should be available via the church website, https://www.tradebit.com.
All music composed and performed by Kevin L Nicht except “Child is Watching”, composed and performed by Jay Valerio with Kevin L Nicht. Kevin uses the following on this recording effort: Korg MicroX Synthesizer/Controller, Alesis BITRMaster, Fender Stratocaster, LP Percussion, Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio 4 XL, Shure microphones.
