Various Reviews -

''Pay For This'' - Justice is never served cause we all guilty as hell. Who is going to forgive this... and make way for the living. This rocker hits harder than any gavel a judge can bang. Jury still out...

''What Are We Livin'' For?'' - Another kick-ass rocker from the brilliant Brits.....plenty ''o pinch harmonics to drive home the tearin'' questions.

''Pay For This'' - I''d pay all I own to always have music like this in my ears...oh yes - perhaps GW and Tony should take note of this...

''Monkey in a Cage'' - Now this is protest music at its finest. I felt like the poor monkey, day after day, then drama is created with the intense changes, then I pictured Maria storming in to save the poor primate, Sometimes, unfortunately freedom only comes with death. Lots of heart felt emotion in this. The harmonies sound so dramatic I thought I heard a bit of meatloaf, The singer, not the product. Awesome.

More brilliance from Maria & Paul...powerful, passionate vocal and wonderful guitars as is to be expected. Great talent!

Ms. Daines'' powerful vocal would be a tough act for anyone to follow. ''The Gentle Soul'' just keeps coming after you until it wins you over.

Can there be anyone left at IAC who doesn''t know about Maria and the good causes she has dedicated her life to? When she''s ''in town'' she has something to say on most subjects and if any kind of injustice or cruely is involved her self named "Bandwagon" rolls up. Musically it''s all about strength and power too. Everybody needs a ''Maria'' fighting their corner. Picked this song ''Wisdom''s Tooth'' just because I enjoyed it.

''Monkey in a Cage'' - In the 50 years that I have intentionally listened to music, I have never heard another song so emotionally charged. It''s in a class by itself. Paul''s chords splash black and red paint all over the walls and the lyrics are so drenched with feeling. It''s above and beyond and how you ever wrote it and put it all together is beyond me!

''Scary Guy'' - Brother Scary ROCKS and so does this song!

Maria, as an artist you are outstanding. As a human being I cannot find words to describe you. Real, honest and caring may come close but you are above mere words. I look up to you and am inspired by you. Please never change. (Ray)

''Business Ain''t Music'' - You said it!! Amazing bluesy vocal performance. Great guitar work. Subject is TOO true.
Outstanding tune!

''Business Ain''t Music'' - Maria, I''ve already raved about your incredible talent, but I want to give Paul his due, too. Maestro, you sho'' nuff know what you doin'' with that axe! Damn, man!...those are some beautiful tones you''re crankin out, and the composition is strong, soulful, funkyass rock''n''roll. Two great talents on the same stage? Are you kiddin me? How can you fail? Even if the tone-deaf bean-counters in the music racket don''t get it, you''ve got it. Making music as good as yours is already success...now let the dummies with the money catch up with y''all!

''Wisdom''s Tooth'' - What struck me on first listen is what always strikes me with your work - the emotional content, the feel, the heart of what you do. You cannot be taught to fly like a bird, only like a plane. And you both fly like you were born with wings. Power, melody, feel. Another stunning, world class song. Maria you are singing amongst the very best female singers EVER. I grew up listening to Janis Joplin, Maggie Bell and others, and you stand shoulder to shoulder with them. As a lyricist you are amazingly talented, the words always say what is the essence of what needs to be said. Paul, as the writer of the music that gives the vehicle for all of this to happen, your ability to capture the changes in intensity as required by the lyrics is stunning. As one guitarist to another, you rock, even when you are at your most mellow my friend. Together...you are simply the best, unstoppable.
Congratulations to you both on being ARTIST OF THE YEAR.
My utmost respects to you both, you continue to amaze me.
Cracking song!

''Wisdom''s Tooth'' - Starts off deceptively understated. Then builds into a classic rock track with Maria singing her heart out and Paul supplying some great lead licks (including some really nice double guitar runs). The duel between Maria and Paul in the outro is one to savour.
Great rocking track.

''What Are We Livin'' For?'' - Good grief if there was ever power and a message in a song - this is it ! No matter the issues we face - or fight to change, we can get such strength from a song like this - for me, it motivates me to DO MORE! Do more to help STOP all the unjust in this world and give our children a better world in which to live! Thank YOU, Maria and Paul for such a powerful message.
THERE IS POWER IN SONG !

''What Are We Livin'' For?'' - Is a rocking tribute to the values that some of us have been guided towards via the overall decision as to whether or not we can make the best with what we have in the here and now. Obviously the individual with whom you spoke felt that the here and now isn''t good enough to care about as he strives to attain the goal. In true, Maria Daines, Paul Killington style, you both once again hit the nail on the head with your prepensity to continue to create thought provoking music and lyrics.

''The Gentle Soul'' - I found a hit song. Every song by you all is just so powerful, full of emotion, what a combination of an excellent vocalist and an incredible guitarist. This has radio written all over it. How can a person review a perfect song? Rock never sounded so good!

''The Gentle Soul'' - Some killer guitar work starts this track out...and then the sweet, soulful vocal comes in, sounding as strong and emotive as I have ever heard you. The guitar really stands out in this track, great tone, great phrasing, and spot on accuracy. The whole song is very tight and high quality. A wonderful track, reminiscent of Melissa Etheridge in parts...radio ready!

''Don''t Go To The Boneyard'' - What a song! A whole new side of M&P that the world will love! The lyrics will take me a month to figure out...I like that. Deep! Then there is the best part of M&P music for me...your dynamics. You guys have become masters at working a song. When the guitars come in, it''s like an avalanche of sound! So cool! Then the guitar part at 3:20 made the hair on my arm stand up. The way the choruses are belted out is just tops.
