The members of Mayday Mile intersected in May of 2006. Their paths started years and several states apart, but have converged in Seattle. Rising from the ashes of his former band, Brady recruited Megan Jones from said band to play bass and his co-worker Jeff who was recently without a band to handle the drums. In their quest for a guitar player, they found Marc and in their first jam laid the foundations for several songs that they group still plays today. In the fall of 2006, Megan announced her upcoming departure from Mayday Mile to start a family. The rest of Mayday Mile wished her the best of luck and carried on with Jake bringing in a new sound on bass.
