This is the long awaited debut release from Portland''s premier pianist Robert O''Hearn. Recorded at Portland''s new state-of-the-art studio, Kung Fu Bakery. Robert was supported by Oregon''s finest musicians including Dan Balmer, Phil Baker, Tim Ellis and Oregon''s First Chair Symphony Quartet. This recording spans a variety of styles from instrumental pop, Celtic rock, to delicate and mysterious orchestral melodies.
Keyboardist Robert O''Hearn has been a fixture in the local and national music scene for over 20 years, breaking into the limelight right out of high school playing keys for Missing Persons, Dolly Parton and Martini Ranch. By 1990 Robert was touring with pop metal band Alias performing twice on the Tonight Show as well as Arsenio Hall. Through the 90''s he has made guest appearances on innumerable local recordings including Pete Droge, Jeff Trott and Jerry Joseph garnering a reputation as Portland''s finest keyboardist.
