TAM KATZIN

Tam was born in Calgary, Canada, but grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She started her musical career playing saxophone and was fortunate enough to have landed her high school years with the world renowned Kent Meridian Jazz Ensemble . During her 11th school year, she became the lead singer for The KM Jazz Ensemble, playing sold out venues such as the “Edmonton Citidahl” and the “Seattle Opera House”. Being reviewed as "The Year’s Find!” by Jim Kershner of the News Journal, and "Future Concert Star" by Winni Carter, Editor/Globe News, Tam enjoyed the great privilege and honor to share various music projects and stages with Gladys Knight, Roberta Flack, Marvin Hamlisch, Diane Reeves, Clark Terry, The Nylons, Lionel Hampton, Jerry Mulligan, Lou Tobaken, Louie Bellson and The Four Freshman.

Expanding her talent over the following years, Tam’s professional experience in the entertainment industry grew to encompass not only an award winning singing career which included the music genres of jazz, pop and rock music, but also a role in creation, development and production of various musical stage shows in the local Seattle area. In 1992, Tam moved to Tampa, Florida and in 1993, decided to step away from the music industry for a while and cultivate her personal passions ... Quantum Physics, the Healing Arts, Sound Healing and Humanitarian issues. After studying various aspects of the Healing Arts for several years, Tam created a multi faceted healing modality called Creactivation in 2001, for personal coaching in transformation.

In 2003, Tam moved back to Seattle to bring all of her passions together within a variety of musical genres. She called upon her good friend and songwriter Chad Quist to begin a new musical journey which she calls “Humanitarian Pop”, and also joined up with Australian born songwriter, and great friend, Bronwyn Edwards Cryer to create a variety of musical projects.

Though Tam’s writing with Bronwyn includes songs that are also selected for Light Euphoric’s repertoire, Bron and Tam have created an incredible mind/body sound healing CD for the Healing Arts entitled “Transformations”… the first in a planned soundscape series for transformational healing.

Recognizing Bron’s amazing artistry, talents and great passion, Tam asked Bron to join her in expanding Creactivation in 2007 to include transformational consulting for business, multi media productions, music and sound healing.

Tam is a member of NARAS, Sound Healers Association, Certified in Matrix Energetics and Reiki, and is a member of ASCAP.

A native of Sydney, Australia, Bronwyn Edwards Cryer is a performing and recording artist, composer, musician, teacher, creative designer and business owner operating out of Seattle, Washington where she has lived since 1986.

Studying piano from age 7, Bronwyn received a gold medal award for first in the state from the New South Wales Conservatorium of Music among many awards resulting from piano competitions in Australia. Since moving to Seattle, Bronwyn has written a song cycle of choral music and two Pacific Northwest Christmas Carols, performed widely in the Puget Sound area by numerous choirs. Bronwyn lives in West Seattle and teaches piano out of her home studio to a small number of lucky students.

And frankly, some of her piano riffs are simply jaw dropping.”
