Jessica Dunnagan, Atlanta-area singer and songwriter, has released her first compact disc, titled “In the Beginning.”
Accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, the 23-year-old Tennessee native sings all songs on “In the Beginning.” Her musical genre could be described as alternative country, with a distinctly Southern flavor and deeply personal lyrics. Her compositions tell universal stories of coming of age, leaving home, falling in love, and being true to yourself, conveying a sense of experience and maturity that seems to reach beyond her years.
