What is written above has been used to describe the effects of my music, and the positive impact it has on those who listen to it.
I just love to hear from my fans who share their stories with me.
For instance, I know of an artist that plays my music in the background as inspiration while she creates her paintings.
I also know of a woman who undergoes 6 hours of dreary kidney dialysis every week. Her husband bought my CD as a gift to her, and a week later I found out that she had the best dialysis of her entire life because the music calmed her and gave her peace.
I recently found out that Dreamer''s Wish has been used in a children''s production at a local church.
These stories reflect the true purpose of my music:
TO HELP OTHERS FEEL BETTER ABOUT THEMSELVES.
I have heard other instances where my music "has found a home"; where it has helped someone through a time of grief, or that they were shut in and lonely and they felt better after listening. Some people even use my CD to fall asleep to; it all depends upon the person. If you know of someone who is shut in and alone, give them a gift of this music and it can help them feel better too.
A LITTLE ABOUT THE COMPOSER:
I began my music career as a cellist performing professionally for 10 years both in solo and orchestral capacities. The highlight of my cello career occurred in April of 1984 performing with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra with Leonard Bernstein guest conducting. I have also performed in the Aspen Music Festival in the summer of 1982, appeared as a guest soloist with the Mid-Columbia Symphony, Portland State University, Mt. Hood Community College, Willamette University, and performed the World Premier of Kitty McKinnon''s Jazzmatazz in April of 1987 as my very last public performance. I have been to Japan, Yugoslavia, Austria, and throughout the United States on musical tours, and have attended Portland State University while winning full scholarships to Mt. Hood Community College and Willamette University.
Just for the record (no pun intended), I have done all of the composing, performing, editing, mixing, recording, producing, mastering, media design, publishing, marketing, and legal; if you buy this CD you will own a CD that I personally burned, printed and assembled by my own hand. My entire heart has been poured into this dream of helping others through my music, and I hope it can add value and enjoyment to your life too.
Thank you for being here,
