Each member is an accomplished, full time, professional musician/songwriter who has played with the most prestigious bands New Jersey has to offer.
Their sound is a tight blend of strong musical hooks, memorable lyrics and addictive melodies.
When we started recording this CD, it was nearly two years ago. Three guys set out to see if they could write a few songs, make a couple of CD singles, but, most of all see if this collaboration would work. It not only worked, it flourished. One song turned to two, turned to five, and before you know it, a CD''s worth of songs. Not to say it was all easy...we worked on this between all of our hectic lives and summers essentially off due to hectic gigging schedules. What was a passion to write and record became a mission to get the damn thing done. Seriously though, it''s very rare to find the right people to start a project like this and have each persons musical vision met and ideas shared without using some kind of weapon. We found a great foundation to start on and this CD is the result of all of that hard work and sweat.

DAZE OF RAIN
Now a brief synopsis of each song:
Disconnected: This is the first song we put together. Chris came in with the body of the tune written and played it for us piano/vocal, told us the vibe he was looking for, and first take we knew we were on to something. The song is about a woman you know is a bitch and a user/abuser but you come running anyway.
Damned: Originally an old Chakra tune Chris wrote in 97''. It was more acoustic based then. So we turned up the tempo and the electric guitars. It''s about when you think your better off without her..... until you''re without her.
Hollow: Put together the same session as Disconnected in pretty much the same way. In this case, Hollow is another word for depressed.
Hearts do the Talkin'': We walked in the studio at 11:30a.m. and had a finished rough demo by 2:30a.m. . Rich had the riff, Joe had the groove and Chris had the "stream of conscience" lyrics. This is the first song all three of us wrote together. It''s a "let''s save our relationship'' song.
Eminent Soul: A song written by Joe and arranged by Chris it was originally supposed to be Piano/Vocal only but evolved into the version that made the CD. Dedicated to a loved one lost and the feelings that go along with it.
Suburban Nervous Wreck: All three of us had a hand in writing this fun 70''s type rock song. It''s about how life has a way of giving you a nervous breakdown. Fun stuff!!!
Frozen in Time: One of the last songs written for the CD. Joe and Rich wrote the bulk of it, Chris came in and all three put the finishing touches on it. It''s about turning back time to fix a few things and if that would ruin a few things you''ve got.
Stained: Written by Chris around the same time as Hollow and Disconnected and again...put together the same way. It''s about how it''s easy to get disgusted with the world and everyone in it.
Talk to me: Joe had this skeleton of a song that Chris and Rich pitched in to finish. It originally sounded like a Steely Dan song ...not quite what we were going for. A couple of guitar and keyboard adjustments made it sound the way it does. The three things that make a relationship work..."Communication....Communication...Communication". Listen for Joes "spoon" performance.
Finally Free: The last song on the CD was the last song written for the CD. Rich and Joes music and Chris'' lyrics round out the first DAZE OF RAIN CD. The message of the song is simple...."Beat it Bitch!!!"
