Making The Album: Fully Loaded
Hallway Productions set out to make the most complete album with Fully Loaded-hence the title. Fully Loaded is actually is a combination of many different elements. One being a car. When a car is Fully Loaded, you get the best; everything you want at the highest quality. The other perspective is a gun. When a gun is fully loaded it can be very dangerous and or leathal. One of the original concepts for the album was a worldwide approach. We wanted to make an album that covered all 4 major musical styles of the U.S. which represents its region. The Midwest/North, South, East and West. The Secret to this album was mixing our elements with all of these styles. Many of the tracks started out with East/ Midwest elements and we West Coasted them out !!! So this album is leathal, dangerous, deadly, eclectic and everything you want. As the project began to wrap, Dee and I did something we started to notice was a trend with our album making process. We made the hottest tracks literally days before we were to release the album. Tracks like "Pimpz Up..." "Dedication" and "A word from Son" were literally made 2 days before the drop date. Many of the tracks were made at Hallway Production Studio. Tracks like "Tha Streets iz Watch," "Tha Times," "40 Deep" were actually made between Midterms and Finals in Davis in 2003. Tracks like "21 Gun Salute," and "Bang''Dis," were literally bang out in minutes. "The Anthem" is what it is. Hot !!!! Our vow at Hallway Productions was to never make an album with filler tracks - make an album full of single. My objective was to make a CD that I could listen to without skipping a song. And we did it ! We were really pleased with the album and we keep on getting incredible reviews for the album. This just shows that when you put 200 % into an album you get that 200% back.
