Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen MP3 Audio Book
Pride and Prejudice is a timeless novel by Jane Austen, first published in 1813 and that is not only a great love story but also a good lesson on what judging and being prideful can do to one’s self.
In the novel, we see this judgment in both main characters, but what makes them different from the other people in the novel is that unlike the majority of the other characters they show the want and ability to grow in the areas where they are most flawed; thus bringing happiness to both of them. Darcy and Elizabeth set aside their differences and got rid of their stubbornness and got engaged. Sometimes our own thoughts and actions can get in the way of making us happy. We should ignore things that should not matter so that we, too, just as Darcy and Elizabeth, can be happy.
Pride and Prejudice shows human nature but it also goes as far of having the characters go through a change. For example, once Mr. Darcy realizes that her money status should not matter he is then able to get rid of his pride and show nothing but love for her. A marriage is supposed to be an unbroken bond between two people who plan to spend the rest of their lives together. Money does not keep a marriage together but sacrifice, work, and love does.
