Details:
A kicking blend of thought-provoking lyricism, electrifying guitar riffs, funky tight bass and drum rhythms allow del giovanni clique to achieve a modern sound while maintaining an old-school groove and creativity many of today''s straight-ahead rock outfits commonly lack.

An uncompromising approach to making great music shines through in the emotionally and physically charged performances dgc dishes out every given opportunity. Given their track record as highly respected show-stoppers, del giovanni clique has been able to consistently win over fans - even those who typically don''t dig bands who are inaccurately lumped into the "rock/rap" category. With one listen, it''s evident dgc''s kicking rhythm section pulls out all the stops to create complex, yet undeniably hooky compositions that defy the easily misconstrued "rock/rap" label.

dgc has shared the stage with a long list of accomplished signed acts, opening for southern-flavored favorites The North Mississippi All Stars, rising rockers Hot Action Cop, Brooklyn-bred party starters 2 Skinnee J''s, hip-hop legend Tone Loc, notable tongue-in-cheekers Southern Culture On The Skids, Memphis rockers Big Ass Truck and hard core/punk/prog experimenters Step Kings.

The members of dgc (Jeff McKinney - Lead Vocals; Ian Wolczyk - Guitar, Vocals; Dave Viglione - Bass; Jake Caldwell - Drums, Vocals) draw from an eclectic base of influences, covering such musical landscapes as funk, rock, alternative, reggae, jazz and rhythm & blues, while vocally incorporating hip-hop to produce an edgy, yet perfectly executed sound. Sly and the Family Stone, Led Zeppelin, Cake and Incubus are just a few of the artists who have inspired the band during their walk along a diverse musical path.

The band scored a Miller Lite sponsorship in 2003 after being named the 102.9 The Buzz / Miller Lite Locals Only featured artist at famed Nashville rock club, 12th & Porter. Free studio time; $2500 cash; 5,000 pressed/printed CDs and promotional materials were all included in the prize package.

dgc''s all-original music continues to earn the band extensive airtime on radio stations in the Southeastern United States, including Nashville''s leading alternative rock station, WBUZ (102.9 "The Buzz") and numerous area university/college stations. The band''s ability to achieve a modern sound while maintaining an old-school groove is the common thread that runs through PRESS TO AMPLIFY and ON DISPLAY, the clique''s new full-length project is slated for a summer 2004 release.

With numerous fans, club owners and industry insiders already in their corner, it appears
del giovanni clique''s future -- much like the music they create -- holds unlimited promise.
